Blattnicksele campsite in Sorsele Kommune, Västerbotten, is a charming oasis for nature lovers, families and fishing enthusiasts.

The small, traditional Swedish campsite enjoys a marvellous location on a sandy peninsula surrounded by the river Vindelälven.

Enjoy the tranquillity and unique nature of Lapland in one of our cosy accommodations. Take part in the many activities offered by the campsite and the surrounding area and treat yourself to specialities in our Vindelälven Diner restaurant.

Camping

For those who prefer a traditional camping experience, there are 30 electrified pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents, all with direct access to the main facilities. A kitchen, dining room and service building with showers, toilets, washing machine and tumble dryer make for a pleasant stay.

At the campsite and in the surrounding area of Blattnicksele, you can enjoy numerous activities suitable for all ages in both summer and winter. Fishing, hiking, skiing, cross-country skiing, guided snowmobile and sled dog tours, swimming, saunas, mountain biking, tennis. These are just some of the many activities you can enjoy at Blattnicksele Camping and its natural surroundings.
Blattnicksele Camping is also an excellent starting point for experiencing the magical Northern Lights or the midnight sun, depending on the time of year.

Fishing

The river Vindelälven offers a variety of fish species such as salmon, perch, grayling, trout, pike and whitefish.
Take part in our guided fishing tours and we will show you the most productive spots. Hire one of our motorised canoes or bellyboats and reach the most remote spots of the many waters in Västerbotten.

We wanted to stay one night, but that turned into four. Since it was September, the place wasn't very crowded. We were able to fish for free from the jetty, and if you want you can also rent a boat. There is a beautiful sandy beach at Vindelälven and beautiful hiking trails nearby. The ICA is also within walking distance. Checking in is easy and card payments are now also possible. The restaurant has a clear but sufficient menu, the elk burger is definitely recommended. The owner speaks German and is happy to give tips if you ask him, for example about fishing. Sanitary facilities are very clean, but it could be tight in the high season. In September it was OK. We would definitely come back!

We stayed there for 3 days in one of the two larger holiday homes. Everything was as you would expect, comfortably furnished and clean.The location was simply fantastic, right on the large river Vindelälven, ideal for fishing but also swimming on the sandy beach.The restaurant serves really good food every evening as a buffet at a very fair price.The German couple who run the place are very friendly and helpful, you feel like you're in family hands.We can recommend this facility without reservation and will come back soon.

Great campground! Cabins are cozy and the food was amazing. The cook did a phenomenal job to the point where I ate at the restaurant every night. There was Greek food, Asian food, burgers, and pizzas and it was all amazing. Even if you’re not staying at the campground I definitely recommend going to the restaurant.!

What an amazing place! The campsite owner is super helpful and friendly and tries to make the stay for everyone memorable. The sanitary facilities are newly renovated and clean. The site also offers delicious meals in the restaurant directly located at the campsite with changing menue. If you are lucky you can get a freshly rosted fish! The sea and river next to the site is perfect for fishing.

We enjoyed our stay at Blattnicksele Fiskecamp very much. We visited it the first time. A lot of nature and space. We would definetly come again. The new owner is very nice and makes a lot of efforts that everyone is satisfied.

Very nicely situated campsite. Sanitary facilities are clean. We felt very comfortable. The site has been taken over by a new owner, so it is now open again. A stay is worthwhile.
